This bold and bright, sunny sunflower print is lovingly handcarved and handprinted using 2 large lino blocks. Completely handmade from start to finish each sunflower is made uniquely for you. 
 
Holly originally made this print as a present to Eleanor, as the sunflower is Eleanors favourite flower. She wanted a large, bold, and eye catching print to embody exactly what the sunflower is, and why we love them so much. They certainly are not afraid to stand out, and neither is this print! The sunflower has many symbolisms and meanings, all centered around happiness, optimism, peace, admiration and devotion. 
 
This block was handcarved, taking roughly 40-50 hours. To create this design a plain lino block was inked up in yellow and printed to create the background. Once dry, the sunflower block was inked up in black and printed over the background. 
 
This print comes mounted to fit a 50x70cm frame.
