This bright, eye-catching glowing sunflower print is lovingly handcarved and handprinted using 1 large lino block and paint. Completely handmade from start to finish each sunflower is made uniquely for you. 
 
Holly originally made this print as a present to Eleanor, as the sunflower is Eleanors favourite flower. She wanted a large, bold, and eye catching print to embody exactly what the sunflower is, and why we love them so much. They certainly are not afraid to stand out, and neither is this print! The sunflower has many symbolisms and meanings, all centered around happiness, optimism, peace, admiration and devotion. 
 
This block was handcarved, taking roughly 40-50 hours. To create this design the sunflower block was inked up in black and a printing press was used to transfer the sunflower design onto the paper. Once dry, a yellow paint wash was used to paint the sunflower head. 
 
 
This print does come mounted to fit a 50x70cm frame.
