This print began life as a pen drawing, which was then exposed onto a silk screen. We handprint multiple sections of the bee screen to build up the natural chaos and movement. 
 
This panel is finished with free-machine embroidery, worked directly back into the printed linen to highlight the yellow bellies and introduce subtle texture. The combination of screen printing and embroidery adds another dimension to the artwork.
