These hydrangea prints are completely handmade and handprinted in pink or blue. Due to the printmaking process each individual flower print is completely unique for you. 
 
The dried hydrangea flowers seen in the pictures were gifted to us by our lovely neighbour. Eleanor then sketched the flowers in pen before transferring them onto a lino block where it took roughly 20 hours to carve out the design. From here the pink and blue colours were handmixed from our inks and the block was inked up using a brayer (roller). This was then transferred onto A4 paper using another brayer. 
 
Hydrangeas represent gratitude, grace and beauty.
The pink hydrangea specifically represents true feeling and some say even the meaning of love, which is why they are prefect for a wedding gift.
The blue hydrangea is not a colour found on any other flowers! It specifically represents apology and forgiveness.

- Cranfield safe wash relief inks (handmixed)
- 21 x 29.7cm Fabriano Unica printmakers paper 
- Traditional lino
- Swiss made Pfeil proffesional linocut tools 
 
The print will come safely in recyclable and eco-friendly packaging. 
Due to the unique nature of printmaking each print will differ slightly - making each one unique!
