The hare was originally hand-drawn in pen before being transferred onto a lino block. This was then carved for roughly 50 hours and finally printed in eco-friendly inks. This print is intentionally printed in deeper tones, evoking the stillness of night and the solitary presence of a hare moving quietly through a field after dark.
 
The nature of linocut printmaking means that every print is subtly unique, with small variations that reflect the hand of the maker and the physical process of printing. This gives each piece its own character and sense of individuality. Printed in small batches, these works reflect a commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and a slower approach to making.
